Garland Brown is a co-founder of Weiss Brown and remains a trusted friend of the firm.

While he no longer practices law, Garland was instrumental in shaping the firm’s business-forward, tech-savvy approach and continues to inspire our work today.

Garland stepped away from legal practice to pursue his passion for building innovative companies. He is currently involved in various startup ventures, applying his deep experience at the intersection of law, business, and technology to help early-stage companies grow and thrive.

Garland is a proud girl dad to four daughters.  A former NCAA All-American in the 800 meters and multiple-time Big East Conference champion, Garland remains an avid fan of track and field and has attended multiple Olympic Games.

He was once named one of America’s “Techiest” Lawyers by the American Bar Association, reflecting both his tech chops and his forward-looking mindset.
